Carlos Aguirre is a nationally recognized racquet-sports executive with more than 15 years of director level leadership in the private club industry. Known for sustained excellence, innovation, and results, Carlos is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished and influential leaders in modern racquet sports.
Currently serving as Director of Racquet Sports at Stonebriar Country Club, Carlos leads one of the most dynamic racquet-sports operations in the region. He oversees an annual budget exceeding $800,000, manages a large, high-performing professional staff, and consistently drives growth in revenue, participation, and membership engagement. His leadership has elevated racquet sports into a flagship lifestyle amenity seamlessly integrating tennis, pickleball, food & beverage, retail, and social programming into a premium member experience.
Over the course of his 15 year tenure as a Director within the Invited network, Carlos has successfully led and transformed programs at several premier clubs, including April Sound Country Club, The Clubs of Prestonwood, and Stonebridge Ranch Country Club. His career is defined by long-term performance, scalable success, and the rare ability to elevate racquet-sports operations across diverse markets and memberships.
Carlos is also the creator and architect behind several signature events and platforms that have reshaped the North Texas tennis landscape, including the Texas Tennis Showdown, the Dallas Open Men’s City League, the Invited Junior Challenge Cup. The i35 Showdown in Austin, and The Manor Invitational in Georgia. These initiatives attract hundreds of players and spectators annually, generate significant sponsorship revenue, and have strengthened partnerships with industry leaders such as the Dallas Open, U.S. Bank Private Wealth, Lacoste, Pepsi, Gatorade, and Topo Chico.
Equally impactful is Carlos’ role as a mentor and organizational leader. He has developed, trained, and promoted numerous professionals who now serve as Directors of Racquet Sports, and he is frequently sought out for his expertise in operations, financial performance, staffing models, and strategic growth.
